Love the Lord

-

Today, this scripture verse is a good one to remember: “Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Matthew 22:37 When I look to the fences filled with open morning glories basking in the sun, my heart is full. I know they are God’s creation. When cranes are in the backyard singing their song in the morning dew, my heart is full. God song through cranes. I see possibilities because of faith, hope and love. Nutrients have gone into the earth, and I have made a list of the next steps. Preparation.  There are a lot of things we need to prepare for; that is, to be ready. Sunday is Psalm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. Luke 12:35 states, “Be dressed in readiness, and keep your lamps lit.” Even if you did nothing for Lent, this week I challenge you to reflect on your relationship with Christ. Today, prepare and fill your lamps and get dressed in readiness so you can continue the walk with Christ on the path…
