Lessons Learned

 Ephesians 1:11-14 “In him we were also chosen, destined in accord with the purpose of the One who accomplishes all things according to the intention of his will, so that we might exist for the praise of his glory, we who first hoped in Christ. In him you also, who have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and have believed in him, were sealed with the promised holy Spirit, which is the first installment of our inheritance toward redemption as God’s possession, to the praise of his glory.” We all have a purpose. Sometimes our purpose is the work we do every day. Sometimes the purpose is our passions outside of a job or career. If you talk to people, they will tell you all the unexpected twists their lives have taken. The ones who are successful, in the terms of Christ are those who have remained positive and used the opportunities to move forward toward what Christ has instore. Sometimes, I admit, I think I know better than God, take a path, and realized, (what God knew all along) that it wasn’t the right path. Lessons learned. Yet when we do follow Christ’s path we are rewarded beyond what we could ever image. Today, think about your path and if it gives praise and glory to Christ. Remember life is about learning lessons, it is how we respond to the lessons that show our heart, our soul and who we really are. Pray that your responses are those of a Christian on the path…
