Fear Not

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Life isn’t perfect. Through the imperfections, we are challenged and strengthened. In scripture, there is a beautiful analogy of the silver being refined. A silversmith heats the silver and carefully lifts off any impurity. The silversmith then cools and will continue this cycle until the silversmith can see his reflection in the silver. The silversmith knows not to heat the silver too hot, or it will be ruined. Not hot enough, the silver’s impurity will not show. As life presents moments of heating up, we must remember that God is the master silversmith. “Fear not, for I am with you…” No matter what you go through or are going through, remember He loves you and is looking for His reflection in you, on the path….
