The Narrow Path
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.” Matthew 7:13
Driving in the rain today I thought about how when you get older driving in the dark, in the rain can be a little more difficult. They recently paved a road, so the freshly black top reflected any lights and blended into the darkness. It reminded me that the path of a Christian can be like a dark rainy road. When the road is difficult, whether from rain, or other trails, it is helpful to remember you are closest to God when the gate is narrow. Today think about how your road is closest to God, through your choices that are counter cultural. Rainy mornings remind me of God’s presence on the path…
