Strength
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
Some days, don't we all need a little strength? When faced with those things we do not like, a difficult decision, or walking a new way, remember that God can be your strength. Today, I have some organization to do as we prepare for some much-needed updates on the house. I am also discerning my next direction in life. As I face moving forward, I am trying this Lent to listen for God's voice in small ways. Yesterday, I took my Seniors who are in my Spirituality class to the chapel to pray the Rosary. By the third time I said the rosary, I allowed myself to talk with God as I prayed. I hope my Seniors will put the experience in their toolbox. When they need prayer, they go to a chapel or church, start with a rosary, and eventually God and they will have a conversation. Or, at the very least and equally adequate, find a quiet space and a vocal point. Today, I ask that you remember not to fear and know that God is your strength on the path.....
