Be still

 Be still. Sometimes, I admit, I get wrapped up in life and all the events it holds. I was watching the USA vs Canada hockey game. I consider Canada a good neighbor. Within the first three minutes, there were three fights. I guess that’s hockey. I am amazed at the agility of the hockey player. They are fast, hit a puck around with a stick-on while gliding on skates, and sometimes even fight on skates. Getting caught up in the world can be dangerous. We begin to get anxious, or fearful. There is one scripture passage I call up when I feel out of control: Psalm 46:10a “He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;” My point? Today take time to Be still.
