A Good Weekend

A good weekend. When you have a good weekend, Monday morning doesn’t seem that bad. Joy comes in family meals. This Sunday we were able to gather and have a meal together. Our house can be a little crazy. Molly the puppy loves to greet everyone. She barks, and the noise level can be a little much. Yet in the chaos there is joy. Today in the readings I am reminded that sometimes all we can do is pray. I pray a prayer of thanksgiving for family gatherings. I pray for those suffering, in need of healing, lonely, and lost. Mark 9:29* He said to them, “This kind can only come out through prayer.” In today’s readings, we are reminded that prayer is the strongest way to help our loved ones. From family gatherings to Monday mornings, we are reminded that prayer needs to be with us. Never doubt the power of prayer on the path…
