Blessings in 2025 Thru Forgiveness

Today I am reminded of “In him we have redemption by his blood, the forgiveness of transgressions, in accord with the riches of his grace that he lavished upon us.” (Ephesians 1:7) This passage reminds me that my life has hope, it has love, it has kindness and faith. Mostly, it reminds me in 2025 that forgiveness is the biggest action to knowing Christ. As humans, it is hard to forgive, and let go of injustices, hurts, and anger, yet Christ does this for me when I am penitent. God hasn’t given up on me in all my humanness, shortcomings, failings, and wrongdoings. I am called to be Christlike towards others by doing the same. My husband and I started a spontaneity box. We put in activities we enjoy, and many new ones we haven’t gotten around to. Why? To maximize our time, enjoy each other’s company, and go beyond our comfort zones. One item not in the box, but that I hope to practice in 2025 is forgiveness. This means I am dedicating myself to not being judgmental and seeing the worst in people. I choose to be a person who is forgiving when hurt, etc. God has privileged me with more days on earth, so I choose: to love family, build friendships, follow His calling, and practice forgiveness on the path…..
